....a haven't drawn any pigs in a while...and neither had he...
..if you are into having fun with your art...then i believe you are in the right place. i have only had maybe one direction with my work and that was to have fun with it...if i bring a smile to myself and other's then i think i have suceeded in my art...
...when i was young, we lived out in the counrty....lots of farm land all around us...even tho we were not farmers...and, there were alot of old abandoned farm houses...i was told on a regular bases to never go and look around these.."Why you never know whats there...could be rabid racoons...broke floor boards where you could fall into the basement and we'd never find you...or....or there might be someone livin there...you just never know"... i had to find out for myself...
....i have always loved Alfred Hitchcock movies..."The Birds" and "Psycho" were my favorites...in drawing Mr. Hitchcock i used my trusty ultra fine sharpie...i did do a preliminary pencil first...the bird character, at first, i was going to use a seagull or crow as in the movie...and maybe i should have...but, i thought that a little cute demon-esk toothy critter would be better...after all birds did have teeth at one time...the "Bate's Motel" sign was a little bit hard to find...i found knock offs, but i wanted the right shape...finally ran across it with it's flickering neon...the ghosting look to it was a very appealing sight...with a wee bit of scratching with a modified bobby pin(i use only the highest tech tools available) and just a tad of prismacolor pencil i think i got close...enjoy
